Kengan Ashura offers a good story, enjoyable, the fights are great and the developpement of the story compelling because the more we advance the more we know : Ohma (the main character) won’t last long. So he’s living and dealing with many problems and physical fatigue and injuries and everything and he managed to continue fighting against stronger and stronger opponents…
In Kengan Ashura characters with cool and likiable personnalities there’s more than I expected.
I wrote a text about Kengan Ashura in French, I won’t say more.
After Finishing Kengan Ashura I wasn’t sure if I read Kengan Ashura Omega, where the events happens two years after Kengan Ashura.
I was slow on the motivation because the finally of KA was good and emotionally I wanted to have some time off.
Also, I had a fear of seeing the quality decreasing…
But the opinions I heard presented KA Omega as a story worth reading and even better than the first part.
I have read so far 30 chapitres, there’s a lot to read is it already better than the first part ?

Hommage :
We can’t read the chapters without a thought to Ohma, the Legendary fighter who came from nowhere and made a great parcours.
Also, we see many of our cast evolving, each one on his domain and more stronger than ever or/and charismatic also, yeah ! I had a smile seeing them.
Also, our YAMACHITA KAZUO “THE LEGENDARY BUSINESSMAN YAMASHITA KAZUO” xDD
and Yamashita Kazuo, the same person, humble and simple but when he enters the underground world, he’s a respected man…OKAY but the first experience also gave him contrast, sometimes when he speaks, he got something, he isn’t ordinary anymore, he’s got some charisma our Yamachita Kazuo, happy for him, his personality with the role he undertakes in the association, it’s funny xD
Main Protagonist:
We don’t have One but TWO main fighters, each one has his particularities in personality, fighting style, strengths and weaknesses.
The dynamic between the two is used as comedy material and a sword of two edges…because one of them is dangerous…
The other is also strong but he needs more training, observations and learning.
New approach:
We’re not going to have the tournament quickly, right at the start…Nope.
We have a training arc, a long one, and interesting because the mentors changes and these mentors are our legends, great fighters we knew in the first part so it’s a way to reunite with them and share more moments…
New concept:
In Kengan Ashura it was a Kengan ashura tournament. One fight after another to attain the final and win it.
in Omega : it’s a tournament between 13 fighters of the Kengan Association and Purgatory (a new and famous establishement in the underground, they have stronge fighters that will surely discover more about later.) The Winner of this tournaments absorde the other association/sociaty (I don’t know the exact term xD)
In Six month the tournament starts, we need to have our two new fighters protagonists to train hard and two select the other participants.
Participants between them, characters we admired in Kengan Ashura.
Who Doesn’t want to see The Fifth FANG OF METSUDO ? man, he’s crazy I want to see him fight.
The cool thing in this format ; we can continue to cheer for our loved characters from the first part without seen them fight each other, so it’s more of a collaborative mindset even if the competitive side they share it obviously.
Each of them fighting for them, yes but also for a sake and faith they share all of them…After the first part, it’s a simple but great idea ! can’t deny it, it works on me xD
