I read first chapter of “Show your Work” by Austin Kleon

My rhythm of reading is simple : I read until I find a cool idea to apply or to reflect on, I close the book and think about it for that day xD

I don’t like to wait until I finish a book to talk about it or think about it.

I don’t wait until the end of a story to know what I like or dislike.

and this keeps me interested and entertained, because I feel active in my reading even if sometimes I should just read, focusing on getting more information and ideas than just reading for 5 minutes and then skipping to another thing xD

If I wait until I finish reading a book to write about it, I’ll maybe do it once a year or two…

and what is cool, is that this book talks about sharing our improvements, work process, a documentation of our progression, and it kind of gave credit to me talking about a small part, chapter of a book and even more for the next occasions.

I’m also taking notes of what I have done that day, note all actions and events, some of them…

presently, I’m don’t use photos, videos I have a little paranoia about them xD so, I just take written notes and maybe some audio from time to time.

If I’m not in the mood, I don’t note, I let myself absorb the lesson or a good part of it then I can talk about it…

It helps me to have content ideas and it’s exciting to know that we’re progressing and how is our rythme, it shows that we can stay determined and somehow disciplined, not as we could’ve believed before….

Feeling like a Monster…in the good sense xD

In a good way, it means being a High Performer, at an exceptional and inspiring level.

It means outclassing the norm and being at the top of the top division…

It feels good and kind of inspires me to be better sometimes. It’s a story, a show I would enjoy.

That way I admire and love the people who are at this level, great football players, great esport players, great peoples in their domain…It’s crazy…it can seem unrealistic when you try to think how you can surpass them and their best level…

Even if it feels good to be better than others, to be waaay far from the competition, but it’s always a comparison, it’s always related to how others do.

It’s better to have an individualistic center, comparing to oneself, trying to be better than yesterday and push to just be more happy with how we are…I prefer this kind of race…

When you’re so good that you just don’t care anymore about how others think about you and just do your stuff and you’re confident in it, it’s a special feeling too…a Sensai vibe you know, a badass character who has nothing to prove to anyone xD…
