The Difference between Squid Game and Alice In Borderland (Which one do you prefer ?)

In Squid Game, you have the choice. In Alice in Borderland, you don’t, it’s unfair ? well, think what you want it won’t change the fact that you have to survive.

In Squid Game : Money problems and how money can improve or the lack of it can destroy a human’s life.

In Alice in Borderland, whetever you were happy or sad, rich or poor…this difference gives different interpretations and perspective on how to see the events.

Rules of the general “game”:

In Squid Game, you have an introduction, clear rules and a limit of how much games you need to play to win.

In Alice In Borderland: you learn from experience, no one can give you answers and explanations, the mystery plays a key role in the story. and There's no limit to how much games you’ll need to play, you’ll play until you die in game.

In Squid Game : Six games, good bye.

In Alice In Borderland : No limit, you play until you die or you find a solution to leave this system…good luck. So we can be more invested because, we don’t know the finish line where it will be nor if there’s one in the first place.

Rewards :

In Squid Game, you survive, you gain money.

In Alice In Borderland, you survived ? good for you. Be grateful and that’s all.

If you have a goal, it’s your personal quest.

The games :

In Squid Game : Childish games becomes deadly.

In Alice In Borderland : Deadly games won’t let you go out of there the same person you entered. More diversity in games and strategies, games takes more time and the level of the games, Alice In Borderland is way more creative and intriguing and entertaining.

Also, In Squid Game : you’re obliged to play.

In Alice In Borderland, like a Open word, you can stop playing games but you have to assume your decision.

Transformation :

In Squid Game, you can go back to your regular life.

In Alice In Borderland, this new life is your life until you find a solution (good luck) and you die.

Main Character :

Debatable ? maybe but for me, The Main Character of Alice In Borderland is immensely more enjoyable to follow in and out of the games. He’s also a psychological player and his charisme and evolution is interesting and he gives more rich reflections than the MC of Squid Game.

I Like Squid Game but for me, Alice In Borderland, the manga, it deserves the buzz that Squid Game has and I hope the best for the two stories.
